The Eagle Park Range in Little River caters for all disciplines, including pistol, shotgun, and large-calibre rifles. People wishing to use the shotgun range are required to sign in at the main range gate. Sporting clays or simulated field is the main shotgun activity shot at Eagle Park and is the most popular of all shotgun competitions.  Fees per round (25 birds) are payable at the shotgun range. Refer to the schedule of events by clicking the calendar image for days and times for each particular discipline.

Eagle Park Range Rules

 

Recreational vehicles are permitted only for access to and from the range. The range may not be used for trailbikes etc at anytime, including outside of normal shooting hours. Trespassers WILL be prosecuted.

 

No shooting is permitted outside the normal range hours. Trespassers WILL be prosecuted and may forfeit their membership to the SSAA.

 

No alcohol is permitted on the range property while shooting is in progress.

 

No fires or barbeques (other than gas) are permitted during the fire danger period (daylight saving time). Gas barbeques are not permitted on days of total fire ban.

 

No incendiary, tracer or armour piercing ammunition is allowed on the range. Any ex-military ammunition that cannot be positively identified as NOT being one of these types must not be used.

 

No shooting is allowed without an authorised Range Officer in attendance.

 

Enclosed footwear must be worn on the range – thongs and sandals are not permitted on the firing line.

 

Excessively open neck tops are not permitted on the firing line (including singlets).

 

ALL shooters MUST be familiar with the range rules (hard copies available from the range office).

 

All persons attending the range MUST follow the directions of the Range Officer at all times.
